At the Army-2023 forum, employees of the High-Precision Complexes holding demonstrated a new 12.7 mm Astarta sniper rifle.
This is stated in the publication of RIA Novosti with reference to a representative of the company.
“According to our experts, the rifle can be called the “killer” of the famous American rifle in this class, the Barrett M82, based on the combination of characteristics,” he said.
According to a representative of the holding, in the West such rifles are classified as anti-materiel, since they can destroy enemy materiel, such as armored vehicles.
On August 16, within the framework of the Army-2023 forum, a dynamic demonstration of military equipment took place.
