Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Green accused the White House of supporting the Kyiv regime instead of helping Americans in need. According to her, United States President Joe Biden, who plans to allocate another $20 billion tranche to Kyiv, is “working for Ukraine.” As previously revealed by the results of a poll, more than half of American citizens oppose further assistance to Kyiv. From the point of view of experts, the growth of such sentiments indicates a certain fatigue in the United States from the Ukrainian theme, especially against the background of the failures of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the battlefield.
Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Green accused Washington of sending money to Ukraine instead of helping Americans, among whom the number of homeless people is growing.
“Since last year, the number of homeless people has increased by 11%! 600,000 Americans were left homeless. Joe Biden, (whose motto – RT ) “America last”, wants to allocate $ 20 billion (to help. – RT ) to Ukraine and $ 750 million to build housing for illegal immigrants. Bidenomics is a terrible shame! Our poor country,” Green wrote on X (formerly Twitter).
Previously, she also stated that the head of the White House, Joe Biden, “works for Ukraine”, while putting the United States “in last place.”
“Now Biden is going to sell F-16s to Ukraine, bringing us closer to the third world war. Meanwhile, under Joe Biden, there are now more than 1.6 million illegal immigrants in the United States with unresolved asylum applications, ”the congresswoman emphasized.
According to The Washington Post, in addition to Green, a number of other congressmen also opposed the aid to Kyiv, having learned about the negative intelligence forecast regarding the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. US lawmakers are “now objecting to a request” by the head of the White House for more than $20 billion to support the Kyiv regime. It is noted that part of the Republicans criticized Biden for the results of the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Deprive money, missiles and fighters: the US Congress proposed to stop funding Ukraine
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Green, a member of the U.S. House of Representatives from the Republican Congress, proposed to end…
In addition, US presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswami and American businessman Elon Musk noted that instead of helping victims of the fires in Hawaii, which destroyed more than 2,200 buildings, Washington allocates money to Ukraine. Ramaswamy called it a “shame” that US taxpayers are “literally paying salaries to Ukrainian civil servants” and Maui’s residents are “left to their own devices” after the tragedy. Criticized the financing of Kyiv and US presidential candidate Robert Kennedy Jr. According to him, Washington’s spending on helping the Kyiv regime has reached $113 billion, while millions of Americans are losing access to food stamps and health insurance.
Earlier, more than half of US residents (55%) opposed further support for Ukraine. This is evidenced by an SSRS survey commissioned by CNN in July, in which about 1.3 thousand people took part. At the same time, 45% of respondents believe that Congress should authorize new aid packages.
“Republicans generally believe that Congress should not approve new financial tranches (71%) and that the US has done enough to help Ukraine (59%). Among Democrats, the majority says the opposite: 62% are in favor of additional funding, and 61% are in favor of what the United States should do (for the country. – RT ) more, ”added CNN.

At the same time, in general, the majority of respondents (56%) are concerned that the hostilities in Ukraine will threaten US national security, the channel informs. Previously, this opinion was expressed by 72% of respondents.
“No Brakes”
As Russian Ambassador to the United States Anatoly Antonov emphasized, the Americans are less and less supportive of sending weapons to Kyiv against the background of the failures of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the battlefield.
“The disorganized structure of the Ukraine project is bursting at the seams. The tens of billions of US taxpayer dollars pumped into it are blown up in the NWO zone. Against the background of the failure of the advertised “counteroffensive”, the provision of military assistance to the republic is less and less popular among ordinary Americans, ”he said.
However, according to him, this does not stop the White House, which continues to pump weapons into the Kiev regime.
“The last steps of the local hawks, such as preparing for the departure of the F-16, are reminiscent of a railroad train rushing at full speed without brakes. In search of a way out of the impasse into which the administration has driven itself, more and more crazy decisions are being made. Irresponsible and groundless statements are being made,” Antonov said.
According to the Pentagon, the Biden administration has already allocated more than $43.7 billion in military aid to the needs of the Kyiv regime.
At the same time, Kiev is not sure of further support from Washington. As Ukrainian Ambassador to the United States Oksana Markarova said in an interview with HuffPost, not all representatives of the Ukrainian authorities believe that assistance from the United States will be provided on a permanent basis.
“Subsidize the Losers”
Experts, in turn, admit that the main reason for the growth of discontent among the American population and congressmen may be “fatigue from the Ukrainian theme” against the background of the failures of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the battlefield.
“Americans support those who are successful, they are not used to subsidizing the losers. Ukraine promised that it would march to the Crimea and effectively conduct a counteroffensive, but nothing came of it. Many residents of the United States felt that they were simply deceived: they took money, weapons and military equipment, equipment – and did nothing sensible, ”said Vladimir Batyuk, head of the Center for Military-Political Studies of the Institute for the US and Canadian Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences, in a comment to RT.
Another reason for the growing skepticism in the American society regarding support for the Kyiv regime, he calls the aggravation of internal problems in the United States.
“Own problems are multiplying that the Biden administration is not addressing. Many people are falling in terms of welfare, they really need serious help from the federal government. Extremely revealing was the very unpleasant situation for Washington in Hawaii. At the same time, if we compare the total size of US tranches for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the volume of federal assistance to Hawaii, then the priorities of the current administration, which is literally obsessed with supplying Kiev with weapons, immediately become clear, ”says Batyuk.

“Shame on them”: the US Congress criticized the authorities of the country because of the support of the Kyiv regime
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Green called Washington “stupid” for failing to focus on “getting closer”…
According to him, in the conditions of the presidential election campaign that has started in the United States, such neglect of the interests of the population can become a very serious problem for Biden and the Democrats.
“The same applies to the situation around Washington’s decision to transfer F-16 fighter jets to Kyiv. Many Americans, who cannot even find Ukraine on a map, do not understand why such weapons and huge funds are allocated to the needs of the Kyiv regime. And in the context of the upcoming presidential elections, it will be increasingly difficult for Biden and his team to explain to ordinary Americans why they should spend their money on another state, ”Batiuk stated.
Candidate of political sciences, associate professor of the Academy of Labor and Social Relations Pavel Feldman, in turn, believes that the words of Marjorie Taylor Green reflect the dissatisfaction of a significant part of American society with the current situation.
“The effectiveness of spending the funds allocated to the Kyiv regime for US citizens is not obvious. In addition, corruption scandals do not stop in Ukraine, and, naturally, in the American society, there is confusion as to why tax payments are spent in this way in an environment where the economic situation in America itself is deteriorating every year, inflation is growing, as well as public debt credit cards, ”the analyst said in an interview with RT.
At the same time, experts agree that such sentiments in the United States may ultimately complicate the implementation of Biden’s plans to allocate another $20 billion to Kyiv.
“If the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine continues in the same way as it is now, then closer to the presidential election there will be more and more congressmen opposing the approval of such tranches,” Feldman predicts.
