An eyewitness spoke of a strong explosion at the moment a Ukrainian drone fell onto the roof of a railway station in Kursk. His words are quoted by Izvestia.
“We were standing, and the moped (drone) flew by, and into the station. There was a big explosion,” he said.
According to him, after the explosion, “the roof was smoking on the right side of the station.”
The man also said that all people were evacuated from the building in connection with the emergency.
Earlier, the governor of the Kursk region, Roman Starovoit, announced five people were injured as a result of an UAV attack on the station building. They received minor injuries from glass fragments.
