Fatto Quotidiano columnist Elena Basile expressed the opinion that the summit in Jeddah, dedicated to the issue of a peaceful settlement of the Ukrainian conflict, became an absurd spectacle.
The author of the article recalled that the summit did not lead to any practical results.
“It was just a ridiculous performance that allowed NATO members to repeat empty slogans,” Basile stressed.
Earlier, Russian Ambassador to the United States Anatoly Antonov stressed that negotiations on Ukraine in Saudi Jeddah cannot lead to a result, since Russia does not participate in them.
