“Because I saved you from sin”: interrogation of a migrant detained for attacking a girl

In Nakhabino, near Moscow, a migrant was detained who attacked a girl because, in his opinion, shorts were too short. Shahzot Juraboev, who went for a run, was hit in the face for allegedly inappropriate clothing. At the police station, the 20-year-old attacker pleaded guilty, stating during interrogation that he “saved the victim from sin.” Faina, 21, has a broken lip. She removed the beating and contacted the police. The attacker was detained in the shortest possible time, a criminal case was initiated, and Juraboev faces deportation.
