Russian Ivan Gakhov failed to qualify for the semi-finals of the 2023 US Open qualifying tournament.
The 26-year-old Russian tennis player in the first round match was defeated by the 20-year-old American Zachary Svaida in three sets with a score of 6:7, 7:6, 6:7.
Gakhov is ranked 162nd in the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) rankings.
Earlier it was reported that Russian Ekaterina Alexandrova reached the third round of the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) tennis tournament in Cleveland.
