The Soyuz-2.1a carrier rocket with the Progress MS-24 transport cargo ship, which will go to the International Space Station (ISS), was launched from the Baikonur Cosmodrome, according to the broadcast of Roscosmos.
It is noted that, according to expectations, the Soyuz will launch the spacecraft into low-Earth orbit nine minutes after launch.
The flight of Progress to the station will take two days.
Earlier it was reported that the Soyuz-2.1a launch vehicle with the Progress MS-24 cargo ship was installed on the launch pad of the Baikonur Cosmodrome.
