CSKA defeated Dynamo in the Moscow derby as part of the group stage match of the Moscow Mayor’s Ice Hockey Cup.
The game at the Megasport arena ended with a score of 3:2 in favor of the team of Sergei Fedorov.
As part of the winners, goals were scored by Vladislav Kamenev (19th and 25th minutes), Mikhail Grigorenko (45th). The losers scored Vladislav Mikhailov (3rd) and Daniil Pylenkov (36th).
In the Moscow Mayor’s Cup, in addition to CSKA and Dynamo, there are also Moscow Spartak, Vityaz near Moscow and the Chinese Kunlun Red Star, Khabarovsk Amur.
Earlier, the former head coach of the Russian national team Vladimir Plushev said that CSKA Moscow had noticeably strengthened before the start in the regular season of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) season 2023/24.
