Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gara Støre confirmed Oslo’s plans to transfer F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine.
“Norway supports Ukraine in its efforts to create a modern air defense system … We plan to donate Norwegian F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine,” the Norwegian government website said in a statement.
Earlier, the NTB agency reported that the country’s authorities had decided to transfer IRIS-T anti-aircraft missiles to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
