World champion in the USSR national team Stanislav Eremin believes that Alexei Shved will cope with the pressure in the event of a transfer to Red Star.
“The Swede will have a very hard time. Because local fans do not have an intermediate relationship: either you are a star, or you will be booed, ”Match TV quotes Eremin.
Honored Coach of Russia stressed that therefore the Shved should be added to the game in defense and find a balance between his game and the team.
“Individually, he is very strong. The question here is how it will fit into the picture. God grant that everything is fine with Alexei. I can only wish him good luck,” said Eremin.
On the eve it became known that the Swede can continue his career in the Belgrade Red Star. The 34-year-old Russian basketball player is negotiating with the Serbian club. The current coach of Red Star is Dusko Ivanovic, with whom Shved worked at Khimki in the 2016/17 season.
The Russian in the 2022/23 season as part of CSKA scored 16.1 points and gave 7.6 assists on average per game in the VTB United League.
Earlier, Shved said he did not know where he would continue his career after leaving CSKA.
