US attempts to limit China’s technological growth and the resulting tense relations between the two countries could drive up the cost of Apple products.
Bloomberg writes about it.
According to the publication, this is due to the partial export of American production from China to other Asian countries.
The article notes that today, manufacturers, carriers and brands are “trying to cope” with production in “less developed places.”
“The splintering of the global supply chain threatens to push up prices for Apple’s vast consumer base,” the publication said.
Earlier, Roskomnadzor denied reports of a possible ban on sales of Apple equipment.
It was also reported that the Ministry of Digital Development banned its employees from using Apple equipment for official purposes.
