Ukraine will be able to do without a power outage only if there are no Russian strikes on the energy system, said the head of the Ukrainian Ministry of Energy Herman Galushchenko.
“If there are blackouts, they will be the result of attacks on our energy system,” the Ukrainian edition of “STRANA” quotes him.
Earlier, Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal said that the upcoming winter would be difficult for the country’s energy system.
At the same time, the head of the Supervisory Board of the Ukrainian Institute of Energy Strategies, Yuriy Korolchuk, noted that in winter, if any nuclear power plant is turned off, a disaster will occur.
