North Korean leader Kim Jong-un said that the confrontational actions of the United States, Japan and South Korea would destabilize the region around the Korean Peninsula and increase the risk of a nuclear war, including at sea.
This is reported by the Central Telegraph Agency of Korea.
“The waters around the Korean Peninsula have now become the world’s largest concentration of military equipment and the most unstable water area with the risk of nuclear war,” Kim Jong-un was quoted as saying by TASS.
According to the North Korean leader, the current situation requires the DPRK Navy to make every effort to maintain constant combat readiness.
Kim Jong-un also said that the DPRK Navy will become an integral part of the nuclear deterrence forces.
