US President Joe Biden and Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva are set to meet on September 19 on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly High-Level Week in New York.

This was reported by Bloomberg, citing a Brazilian official.
The publication says that the parties recently held telephone conversations, where they discussed the climate and other important issues, despite disputes over the Ukrainian conflict and relations with China.
Earlier, the Kremlin said that Russian leader Vladimir Putin was not going to take part in the UN General Assembly, which will be held in New York in September.
