Former adviser to the head of the Pentagon, Colonel Douglas McGregor, in an interview with the Youtube channel Redacted, expressed the opinion that the escalation of the conflict in Ukraine was a failed attempt by the West to destroy Russia.
At the same time, McGregor noted that the countries of the West miscalculated, counting on the defeat of Russia.
Earlier, the former adviser to Leonid Kuchma, Oleg Soskin, did not rule out that the West would divide Ukraine into parts.
