WhatsApp has become, in recent years, one of the most important social networks when it comes to information and mobilization. A DataSenado survey shows that, in 2019, 79% of Brazilians had WhatsApp as their main source of news.
Mastering the application is essential and everyone already knows that. What our course proposes is the study of tools that provide conditions for expanding work with groups, communities and broadcast lists. If professionalized, work via WhatsApp can take on major proportions and become an important strategy for disseminating journalistic content to counter the network of lies and fake news, and dispute ideas in society.

Conducted by Brasil de Fato MG, the course’s main mentor is the Movimenta.Aí team, a program that has been used by various entities and parliamentary mandates. Our menu is designed for press advisors, mandate advisors, union journalists, parliamentarians, union directors and other interested parties. No previous training is required.
Let’s delve deeper into how WhatsApp’s “culture” works, that is, the forms of interaction that have been most successful, such as the use or not of audio, the “good morning”, the call to action and other types of engagement creation .
:: The project of the elites against the poor: between disinformation and fake news ::
We will also study how a WhatsApp automation program works and all its potentialities. With a spreadsheet with thousands of contacts, it is possible, for example, to transform it into groups in a few hours. Scheduling the sending of messages, producing reports and massive group administration are also tools that we will study.
