Former head coach of the Ufa Salavat Yulaev Vyacheslav Bykov spoke about the positive doping tests of the Tolpara hockey players.
“At one time, we tried to strengthen the club vertical, which would be functional. In this regard, we communicated with all the heads of organizations, right up to the President of Bashkortostan Khamitov and the respected Abzy-Murtaza Gubaidulovich. We found great support in their eyes, and they provided us with the necessary assistance with understanding!” — Bykov told RT.
He also noted that interaction between sports and hockey structures in particular is well established in Bashkiria.
“All managers approached their activities in this direction with understanding and responsibility! After all, home-grown athletes and hockey players are very important for the promotion of sports and the development of children’s and youth sports, the structures of which are included in the teams “Salavat Yulaev” and “Tolpara”! This is not only a sports ladder, but also a socially important mission of these clubs in the republic! And in our time, club leaders have successfully coped with this role,” added Bykov.
