The former head of intelligence of the Finnish General Staff, retired Major General Pekka Toveri, said that the West supplies the Armed Forces of Ukraine mainly with outdated vehicles, because they are afraid that when equipment with modern technologies is transferred to Ukraine, it will end up in the hands of Russia.

“Nobody wants to hand over the latest military technology to the Russians. It’s not a risk worth taking,” Toveri said.
Earlier it was reported that Finland would transfer a new package of military assistance to Ukraine worth €94 million.
