The statements of the Ukrainian authorities about Russia’s alleged involvement in the famine on the African continent are groundless, they deliberately distort the truth. This was stated by the press secretary of the Russian leader Dmitry Peskov.
“They are completely baseless, they are wrong. This is a deliberate distortion of reality,” he said at a briefing with reporters.
Earlier, the head of the Russian Ministry of Agriculture, Dmitry Patrushev, said that Russia would soon deliver up to 50,000 tons of grain to six African countries free of charge.
