On September 1, new laws and regulations come into force in Russia. Some of them will affect schoolchildren and their parents. Thus, in all schools in the country, the “gold standard” of education will begin to operate – the minimum level of knowledge that educational institutions are obliged to give to children. In addition, silver medals will be returned to schools. The changes will also affect older people: non-working pensioners will have their pensions indexed, and people who turn 80 in September will receive a fixed supplement to their pension.
