Russian leader Vladimir Putin at a meeting on the development of the Krasnoyarsk Territory called for expanding the Trans-Siberian Railway and increasing work on the Northern Sea Route.
“A separate topic is the development of logistics and transport infrastructure, the expansion of the Trans-Siberian Railway, and increasing the capabilities of the Northern Sea Route,” the president said.
According to him, these projects are of particular importance for the whole country.
Earlier, Putin held a meeting via videoconference on the socio-economic development of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
It was also reported that the Russian president opened the northernmost road bridge across the Yenisei.
