Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna was dissatisfied with the Nobel Foundation’s decision to invite representatives of Russia and Belarus to the award ceremony in Stockholm.
“We are united on the issue of isolating Russians and Belarusians in the international arena, but in Moscow and Minsk there remains hope for a friendly signal from the West. We must leave this mistake in the past. No official from these countries should be invited to the Nobel Prize ceremony.” wrote he’s in X.
As it became known earlier, the Nobel Foundation has revised its policy and again welcomes the presence of representatives of Russia, Belarus and Iran at the awards ceremony.
