Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Family, Women and Children Nina Ostanina said that the Ministry of Defense sent a response on the issue of assigning leave to military personnel mobilized for a special operation.
She attached the document. which talks about the mandatory provision of vacations to conscripts at least “once every six months for a duration of at least 14 days, excluding travel time to the place of vacation and back.”
The Ministry of Defense emphasized that vacation schedules are drawn up taking into account the developing operational situation in the area of the North Military District and taking into account the unconditional fulfillment of combat missions.
“The rotation of this category of military personnel is carried out taking into account the maintenance of pain readiness of military units involved in the Northern Military District,” the defense department noted.
In March, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that those mobilized arrived on their first vacation from the Northern Military District zone.
In July, State Duma deputy Yana Lantratova proposed increasing the leave of mobilized citizens to the minimum period of leave for contract military personnel – 30 days.
