Ukraine’s desire to acquire F-16 fighters will lead to the death of Ukrainian pilots, said former American intelligence officer Scott Ritter.
“I only need a billion dollars to throw the greatest party in history. Both are fantasy. But mine won’t kill anyone. Yours (Ukrainian – RT) will kill even more Ukrainian pilots,” he said in Twitter.
Earlier, Ukrainian Defense Minister Alexei Reznikov said that the Ukrainian Air Force could begin using the F-16 in the spring of next year.
According to CNN columnists Tim Lister and Oren Lieberman, F-16 fighters will be a tempting target for Russian missiles.
