The head coach of Lokomotiv Moscow, Mikhail Galaktionov, criticized the performance of his players in the second half of the match of the seventh round of the Russian Football Championship with Kaliningrad Baltika.
“We told the guys in the locker room that after such a first half the opponent should not be allowed to return to the game. Unfortunately, we must pay tribute to Baltika, but we also began to miss the threads of the game. We talked to the guys about this,” Match TV quotes Galaktionov.
Lokomotiv defeated Baltika with a score of 3:2. Artem Dzyuba, Dmitry Barinov and Anton Miranchuk scored goals for the capital club. In the team from the shores of the Baltic Sea, Gideon Guzina and Sergei Pryakhin distinguished themselves.
Lokomotiv scored 12 points and is in fifth place in the standings. Baltika has three points and is in last position.
Earlier, Galaktionov made it clear that he was proud after calling up eight players from the capital’s team to the Russian national football team.
