Zenit midfielder Alexei Sutormin said that he wants to get more playing practice, but the question of a possible move to CSKA needs to be asked to the management of both clubs.
“As for a possible departure to CSKA, this is a question for both clubs. I want more game practice. I knew there was interest. At Zenit they don’t say anything, I’m just training. We need to prove our place on the field,” RIA Novosti quotes Sutormin.
According to Metaratings, the player was informed that he would be able to leave the club only if Zenit found a replacement for him. At the moment, negotiations have been postponed to September.
In the 2022/23 season, Sutormin took part in 20 matches in all tournaments for the St. Petersburg club and was not effective. The midfielder’s contract with Zenit runs until June 30, 2025.
Earlier, Zenit and CSKA suspended negotiations on the transfer of Sutormin.
