Russia’s turn to Asia is not forced; this policy has always been in line with Russia’s strategic goals, said Deputy Head of the Russian Foreign Ministry Andrei Rudenko.

“Saying that we have had some kind of “new turn in our history with Asia,” this has always corresponded to our strategic goals,” RIA Novosti quotes Rudenko as saying at the Valdai Club discussion platform.
He noted that the center of world politics and economics is moving to the Asia-Pacific region.
At the end of July, the General Administration of Customs of China gave permission to ten more enterprises from Russia to supply their products to the country.
