Two people who destroyed a section of the Great Wall of China with an excavator have been detained, China Central Television reports.
The message is reported by RIA Novosti.
It is noted that the man and woman who destroyed the section of the wall were involved in construction work not far from it.
They decided to make a passage through the wall to reduce the distance for work.
