Manchester United striker Anthony has issued a statement following news that his ex-girlfriend plans to contact police in England about domestic violence.
“I feel obligated to speak publicly about the allegations of which I have been the victim. I can say with confidence that they are false and that the evidence already presented shows that I am innocent.
My relationship with Miss Gabriela was tumultuous, with verbal abuse on both sides, but I never used any physical aggression,” Anthony said on social media.
According to media reports, Gabriela Cavallin and her lawyer have compiled a 70-page document that contains “evidence” of the Brazilian’s abusive behavior.
Earlier it was reported that the court acquitted Ryan Giggs of beating a girl.
