“I didn’t communicate with Sevikyan. It is unknown whether this is a loss for the team. Right now Edgar would not play in the main team,” Sport24 quotes Karpin as saying.
The coach answered the question about how he feels about the change of sports citizenship for football players.
“I don’t blame them. They have the opportunity to qualify for major tournaments,” he said.
Let us remind you that the 22-year-old Russian decided to play for the Armenian national team.
Earlier, Karpin said that he does not know when the Russian national team will be returned to international tournaments.
