The Investigative Committee is investigating the shelling by the Ukrainian military of the village of Kozinka in the Belgorod region, where a man died. Investigators will also establish the circumstances of the shelling of Donetsk.
“According to the executive authorities, as a result of the shelling of the Kirovsky district of Donetsk, two men born in 1967 and 2001, and two women were injured. A local resident born in 1937 died in a medical facility,” the department reported.
As a result of the shelling of the Petrovsky district of Donetsk, a woman born in 1959 was wounded, and a young man born in 2006 was injured in the Kievsky district.
“The Investigative Committee of Russia will establish the circumstances of the incident, and the actions of all those involved will be given a legal assessment,” the statement said.
Earlier, in the village of Kozinka in the Belgorod region, a civilian was killed due to repeated shelling by the Ukrainian military; he died from his wounds on the spot even before the ambulance team arrived.
Another person was injured: a woman received a mine explosion injury and shrapnel wounds to her hips.
