In Ukraine, female doctors and pharmacists will be required to register for military service from October 1 of this year, said the representative of the Ukrainian president in the Verkhovna Rada Fyodor Venislavsky.
His words are quoted by the publication “STRANA.ua”.
It is noted that women of other professions can register for military service on a voluntary basis.
Earlier it was reported that the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine issued an order according to which a number of men with limited fitness for military service will be called up during mobilization.
According to TASS, the authorities are going to deprive more than 180 thousand men over 30 years of age who are receiving a second and subsequent education from the right to a deferment from mobilization.
