The fragments of a Russian drone after an attack on Ukraine apparently fell on the territory of Romania. This was stated on Wednesday by Romanian Defense Minister Angel Tilvar. Previously, Romanian authorities denied the fall of Russian drones in the country. In Kyiv, on the contrary, they claimed that during the attack on the Ukrainian ports on the Danube on the night of September 3-4, the territory of Romania was also affected.
Antena 3 CNN was the first to report the discovery of drone debris in the Romanian county of Tulcea. There were no casualties or damage. The Defense Minister confirmed that “parts that could be drone debris have been found.” It is unclear exactly when the debris may have fallen on Romanian territory, whether it was on the night of September 4 or later. For several days in a row, Russia has been striking Ukrainian ports located near the Romanian border. The strikes also took place on Wednesday night.
