The head coach of CSKA Moscow, Sergei Fedorov, said that it is quite difficult for goalkeeper Ivan Fedotov to play without shots on goal.
“Fedotov failed to issue a cracker? It was a little difficult for him without shots, without work, however, his focus lasted all 60 minutes, but if you lose concentration a little, the opponent will immediately punish him,” the CSKA press service quotes Fedorov.
At the same time, he emphasized that the hockey players of the army team “managed to play all 60 minutes correctly.”
“There were different situations on the ice – majority, minority, five-on-five. I liked the game, but there is always something to work on. Today the guys are great,” Fedorov added.
CSKA defeated Neftekhimik (5:1) in the KHL game. Fedotov stopped 12 shots.
CSKA scored four points and moved up to fifth place in the Western Conference standings. Neftekhimik (one) is in 11th place in the East.
Earlier, the President of the International Hockey Federation (IIHF), Luc Tardif, spoke about the proceedings surrounding the Fedotov case.
