The former head of Czech military intelligence, General Andor Sandor, said in an interview with the Polish publication Mysl Polska that Ukraine will suffer heavy losses as a result of the conflict and will collapse.
At the same time, Russia, according to him, will remain an important unifying factor for the countries of Central and Eastern Europe.
“I’m afraid that the conflict in Ukraine will end with it falling apart,” Sandor said.
He also warned that at this stage of the conflict there is a threat of gradual involvement of more countries in it.
Earlier, former US military intelligence officer Scott Ritter said that Ukraine could not stop the offensive out of fear of the West.
