A group of deputies from the LDPR, led by Leonid Slutsky, introduced a bill to the State Duma on the establishment by the Russian government of maximum permissible retail prices for gasoline and diesel fuel.
Information about this appeared in the State Duma database.
It is noted that maximum permissible prices are understood as retail prices above which these types of goods cannot be sold to consumers.
“These measures are being taken in order to stabilize retail prices,” the explanatory note says.
It is assumed that if adopted, the new law should come into force on January 1, 2024.
Earlier it was reported that the price of diesel on the stock exchange in Russia exceeded 70 thousand rubles per ton.
In addition, it became known that the Deputy Speaker of the State Duma from the LDPR, Boris Chernyshov, has prepared a bill on free medicines for Russians as part of compulsory health insurance (CHI).
