Ukrainian experts have warned of an approaching “communal collapse” in the country due to problems with gas.
RIA Novosti writes about this with reference to Strana.ua.
According to the publication, from September 1, Naftogaz Trading “threw out” thermal power plants from the trading platform. At the same time, local gas workers, as noted in the publication, began to go to enterprises and cut off their gas.
“That is, there is simply nothing to heat the water with,” the article says.
According to experts, the next heating season in Ukraine will be “extremely difficult.”
Earlier in Ukraine they stated that thermal power plants are only 30% ready for winter.
Residents of Ukraine were also urged to save electricity amid record consumption.
