Business Insider observers said that Russia’s “return” to world trade caused disappointment among experts from Germany.
This statement was made on the basis of a report from the Kiel Institute of World Economics.
It notes that Russia’s trading activity intensified in August, despite “large-scale sanctions.”
“This is happening despite sanctions imposed by Western countries and the depreciation of the ruble, which is disappointing,” said expert Vincent Stamer.
The publication also emphasized that the number of arriving container ships at Russian ports is growing.
Earlier it was reported that China is increasing trade with Russia amid a decrease in trade turnover with the United States and the European Union.
Also, the head of the Shanghai company Duxia, Andrei Xu, noted that anti-Russian sanctions are beneficial to Russia.
