General Director of Spartak Oleg Malyshev said that the process related to obtaining Russian citizenship by the team’s striker Quincy Promes has begun.
“I haven’t received it yet. At the moment, another process is underway. Is it related to obtaining citizenship? Yes,” RB Sport quotes Malyshev as saying.
For Spartak, Promes played 223 matches, in which he scored 109 goals and gave 55 assists.
His contract runs until 2024.
Earlier, ex-Spartak footballer Robson called Promes a club legend.
