Turning tie-break: Zvonareva and Siegemund lost in the final of the US Open in pairs

Vera Zvonareva and Laura Siegemund failed to win the US Open doubles title. In the final, they lost to Canada’s Gabriela Dabrowski and New Zealand’s Erin Rutliff. Moreover, in the first game, the Russian-German duo fought back in the tiebreaker with a score of 0:4 and earned two set points, but failed to bring the matter to its logical conclusion and lost.
