The Kiev regime shifts responsibility to each other for failure before Western sponsors, said former Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov.
“Officials in the West now recognize that Ukraine is doomed to fight a battle of attrition that it will lose as the conflict slowly transforms,” he wrote on Telegram.
According to Azarov, in any case, the West will shift the blame for the failed counteroffensive onto Ukraine and its leader Vladimir Zelensky.
“That’s why the Kiev regime is now busy shoving responsibility on each other for failure before Western sponsors,” the politician concluded.
Earlier, the head of the Russian Ministry of Defense, Sergei Shoigu, said that the losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces since the beginning of the counteroffensive amounted to more than 66 thousand people.
Russian President Vladimir Putin called the counter-offensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces a failure.
