The amount of prize money that Russian Daniil Medvedev will receive for participating in the 2023 US Open has become known.
The Russian will receive $1.5 million for reaching the final of the tournament. Serbian Novak Djokovic will receive $3 million for winning.
The 27-year-old tennis player from Russia lost to Djokovic in the final of the US Open in three sets with a score of 3:6, 6:7, 3:6.
The total prize fund of the tournament was $65 million.
Earlier, Medvedev said that he plans to win as many victories as possible at the US Open in his career.
