The Ukrainian Armed Forces may begin using F-16 fighters this coming winter. The Wall Street Journal writes about this with reference to representatives of the military leadership of Kyiv.
As stated in the material, in Ukraine they believe that if training begins in September or October, a small number of Ukrainian Armed Forces fighter pilots may be ready by February.
It is clarified that US specialists can, within five months, prepare a group of no more than ten pilots who speak English.
Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that Russian troops repelled six attacks by Ukrainian assault groups in the area of the village of Rabotino in the Zaporozhye region.
On September 9, Military Chronicle reported that mine-protected vehicles, used in large numbers by the Ukrainian military for offensive operations, are increasingly becoming a problem for Ukrainian units on the battlefield.
