The Ukrainian government has transferred two confiscated apartments and other property of Russian designer and blogger Artemy Lebedev in Kyiv to the management of the country’s State Property Fund.
According to the department’s press service, after privatization, the confiscated apartments will be rented out or sold, and the proceeds will go to the Fund for Liquidating the Consequences of Armed Aggression.
We are talking about two apartments with an area of 138 and 193 square meters. meters. The decision to confiscate apartments in the center of Kyiv at the request of the Ministry of Justice was made in July by the High Anti-Corruption Court of Ukraine. At the same time, Lebedev published photographs of one of the apartments in a telegram and wrote: “It’s a pity for the Kyiv apartment. I will miss it.”
Earlier, the Security Service of Ukraine accused Lebedev of justifying the war and denying Russia’s armed aggression against Ukraine.
The SBU banned Lebedev from entering the country for “causing harm in the field of information security” at the end of March 2017. In January 2022, Lebedev was included in the Ukrainian sanctions list.
Last summer, Lebedev visited the occupied territories of Ukraine. He published a photo from Donbass, from the roof of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant. Lebedev called the visit to the Ukrainian territories captured by Russian troops “small joys of a full life.”
