The US State Department and the Pentagon are advising US President Joe Biden to approve the transfer of long-range ATACMS missiles to the Ukrainian army, CNN reports, citing sources.
“This significant step is recommended by the State and Defense Departments after months of Ukrainian requests,” the material says.
It is noted that Biden may make a decision soon.
Earlier, former US Marine Brian Berletic expressed confidence that Russian air defense systems are capable of intercepting ATACMS missiles.
