The First Eastern District Military Court of Kansk sentenced a local resident to seven years in a special regime colony in the case of “public calls for terrorism and extremism using the Internet” (part 2 of article 205.2, part 2 of article 280 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). The reason for the persecution was his publications on social networks with “calls for violence against the Russian population and for undermining the Crimean Bridge,” Prospekt Mira reports, citing the FSB press service. The man’s name has not been released.
In the file on the website of the 1st Eastern District Military Court, information about cases under articles on “calls for terrorism” is hidden. According to the federal law “On ensuring access to information about the activities of courts,” materials on cases “affecting the security of the state” or “containing state secrets” are not subject to publication. Thus, without knowing the name of the accused, it is impossible to establish what kind of case we are talking about.
It is possible that the convicted person’s name is Sergei Nazarchuk. On the Fourth of July, a person with that name was added to the terrorist list. Judging by the registers of legal entities, Nazarchuk was the founder of several companies for the wholesale trade of building materials in Kansk and Krasnoyarsk.
In April 2023, Sibmedia and NGS24, citing a source in the FSB, reported the detention of a resident of Achinsk, another city in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. According to media reports, this is a 47-year-old man who published comments on VKontakte about the explosion on the Crimean Bridge. His name was also not mentioned.
