On the night of September 13, the Russian military struck Odessa with “Shaheds”: there were wounded, the port infrastructure was damaged, local authorities report.
The threat of drone strikes in the Odessa region was announced at half past midnight. According to the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Russia has launched several groups of Shahed-type unmanned aerial vehicles across Ukraine. The monitoring telegram channel Monitor wrote that Russian attack UAVs are moving along the Danube bed in the direction of Izmail.
Kamikaze drone raids on Ukrainian ports on the Danube wounded six civilians; three of them are in serious condition, three are in average condition. The head of the Odessa regional administration Oleg Kiper writes about this.
He laconically reports that as a result of drone strikes, “port and other civilian infrastructure” was damaged.
“The liquidation of the consequences is underway. Rescuers are taming the fire,” writes Kiper in his Telegram channel.
The Russian military also attacked the Odessa region on the night of September 7. Then the drones were released from the annexed Crimea. Eyewitnesses reported explosions in the area of Izmail and Kiliya. The head of the Odessa OVA, Oleg Kiper, said that as a result of this attack, civil and port infrastructure facilities, as well as an elevator and an administrative building, were damaged, and one person was injured.
