Trade turnover between Tatarstan and Uzbekistan increased by 50% in 2022, exceeding $290 million, said the rais of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov at a meeting with the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Russia Botirjon Asadov.

As Minnikhanov noted, the republic values the opportunity to develop cooperation.
“Recently, we have been actively interacting with Uzbek partners: a number of joint projects are being implemented, work is underway through leading Tatarstan companies,” he said.
For his part, Asadov thanked Minnikhanov for his attention to cooperation with Uzbekistan, reports State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company Tatarstan.
It was previously reported that Udmurtia increased export volumes to India by 89% at the end of 2022.
