Assistant to the President of the Russian Federation, First Vice-President of the Russian Olympic Committee (ROC) Igor Levitin said that Ukrainian politicians forget about the dead athletes of Donbass and Lugansk.
“Ukrainian politicians very often focus on the number of athletes who died during the SVO. But they forget how many years the athletes of Donbass and Lugansk lived under fire from the Ukrainian army. How many of them died and how many were forced to leave their homeland in order to survive.
And the entire infrastructure in these regions was completely destroyed. Let them remember what they did. We will also talk about this,” Levitin said at a meeting of the ROC athletes’ commission.
Earlier, Levitin spoke about the main goal of OCD.
