Dynamo head coach Marcel Licka believes that the capital team should not have missed the victory in the match of the eighth round of the Russian football championship with Paris NN.
“We killed ourselves. Very disappointed. I told the team at half-time: be hungry for goals. Stop showing figure skating, artistry, technique, and so on. We need to score,” Match TV quotes Lichka.
He emphasized that the players of the capital team had to endure, opening the scoring, and look for chances in counterattacks.
“However, we ourselves missed the counterattack. Some players looked good and showed a standard of play. But we weren’t hungry for shots and goals,” Lichka concluded.
The meeting ended with the score 1:1. Dynamo scored 15 points and ranks second in the RPL standings. Paris NN has 11 points and is in eighth position.
Earlier, Dynamo striker Fedor Smolov spoke about the draw with Paris NN in the match of the eighth round of the RPL.
